In compliance with Brazilian LGPD — Law No. 13,709/2018

1. Who we are (Data Controller)

IntelliCut (intellicut.com.br) is the data controller under the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (LGPD). Our privacy contact is: intellicut.app@gmail.com

2. Core principle: your images never leave your device

IntelliCut was designed with privacy by default. All background removal processing occurs exclusively in the user's browser, via artificial intelligence running locally. Your images are never sent to any server.

This means we have no access to, do not store, and do not process the visual content you use in IntelliCut.

3. Data collected and purposes

3.1 Data we do NOT collect

IntelliCut does not collect:

  • Processed or original images;
  • Name, email, or any registration data (there are no user accounts);
  • Usage history or generated files.

3.2 Technical data collected automatically

Like any website, our hosting servers may automatically log technical access data such as IP address, browser type, operating system, pages visited, and date/time of access. These logs are required by Article 15 of Brazil's Internet Civil Rights Framework (Law No. 12,965/2014) and are stored for up to 6 (six) months.

This data is used solely for security, error diagnosis, and legal compliance — never for personal identification or advertising.

3.3 AI model cache in the browser

The artificial intelligence model (~80 MB) is downloaded from our AI provider's server and stored in your browser's cache. We use the highest-precision model available to ensure professional results — this means the first processing may take a few extra seconds depending on your connection. This cache is managed exclusively by your device and can be cleared at any time in your browser settings. IntelliCut has no access to this cache.

3.4 Cookies

IntelliCut does not use tracking, advertising, or behavioral analytics cookies. There may be strictly necessary technical cookies for the site to function (e.g., HTTP session identification). These do not require consent under the LGPD.

4. Legal basis for processing (Art. 7 of LGPD)

The processing of technical access data described in section 3.2 is based on:

  • Compliance with a legal obligation (Art. 7, II): log retention required by the Internet Civil Rights Framework;
  • Legitimate interest (Art. 7, IX): ensuring the security, integrity, and availability of the service.

5. Data sharing

IntelliCut does not sell, rent, or trade personal data. Technical access data (logs) may be shared only in the following cases:

  • Compliance with a court order or competent authority determination;
  • With our hosting platform (Render.com), which acts as data processor and has its own privacy policy.

6. Your rights as a data subject (Art. 18 of LGPD)

The LGPD grants you the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Confirmation and access — know if we process your data and obtain a copy;
  • Correction — request correction of incomplete or outdated data;
  • Anonymization, blocking or deletion — of unnecessary data or data processed in violation of the law;
  • Portability — receive your data in an interoperable format;
  • Deletion — request deletion of data processed with your consent;
  • Information on sharing — know with whom we share your data;
  • Revocation of consent — when processing is based on that ground;
  • Opposition — if you disagree with processing based on legitimate interest.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at intellicut.app@gmail.com. We will respond within 15 business days.

7. Security

We adopt appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect data against unauthorized access, destruction, loss, alteration, or improper disclosure, including the use of HTTPS for all site communications.

Since no image is transmitted to the server, the risk of leaking processed visual content is structurally eliminated.

8. International data transfers

The AI model may be downloaded from servers located outside Brazil (global CDN of our AI provider). This transfer involves only the model file — with no personal user data — and occurs only once, after which the model is stored locally in the browser cache.

9. Data Protection Officer (DPO)

IntelliCut's data protection officer can be reached at: intellicut.app@gmail.com

10. Changes to this Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically. Significant changes will be communicated via a prominent notice on the site. The date of the last update appears at the top of this document.

11. Brazilian Data Protection Authority (ANPD)

If you believe your rights have not been adequately addressed, you may file a complaint with the Autoridade Nacional de Proteção de Dados (ANPD) at gov.br/anpd.
